We are an apostolic community of Catholic religious women present in Lesotho since 1931. Our congregation was founded in 1843 by a Canadian, Eulalie Durocher. She has inspired us and always inspires us with her spirituality, her values of openness and respect for others and her determination to foster the full development of the human person. Since 2018, our SNJM province in Lesotho has only native sisters in the country.
We continue our commitment to education in the spirit of Mother Marie-Rose to promote the integral development of each individual. We are also engaged with marginalized people with our dispensaries and clinics and through the implementation of various community services. Together with our sisters throughout our international congregation, our mission extends to projects promoting justice and safeguarding our planet.
