Our way of acting and being is a testament to our deep values of solidarity and collaboration. This presence encourages some lay people to deepen their spirituality and participate more actively in the SNJM mission.
The associate commitment brings together lay people who wish to deepen their spirituality and better understand the charism of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM). Associates undergo a process of discernment before formally expressing their commitment, which is renewed annually.
The SNJM Associate is part of a group. This group plans a retreat program along with activities for the year in order to promote exchanges and consolidate the links between members of the group. At the same time, the Associate is called to commit to her mission by bearing witness to the values of Blessed Marie-Rose Durocher.
We currently have around 50 SNJM Associates in Lesotho.
