At the beginning of last year the SNJM Computer College staff, composed of Ms. Mookho Sello, Ms. ’Mapule Sekhoacha and Sister Agnes Motake welcomed 20 students: 4 IT (Information Technology) beginners and 16 returning students in ICDL (International European Computer Driving License). Speaking on behalf of the staff, Ms. Sello encouraged the students to begin working hard for their future success and then wished everyone good luck.

The committee responsible for ensuring people have clean water assists the sisters and the people in respecting and celebrating World Water Day by way of a special prayer that is recited at each convent on March 22. The importance of water is highlighted in this prayer and inspires each and every single person to fight for access to clean water, particularly for those who are experiencing shortages of it.

Mary Rose Creche staff greatly appreciated the assistance from two volunteers from Manitoba, Canada, from December 28, 2018 up to March 15, 2019. Unfortunately, Miss Fiona Vowel and Miss Isabelle Hodgson ran short of time to help the kids with their written and spoken English.

With the help of SNJM sisters overseas, the Lesotho Province has been able to meet the needs of some of our disadvantaged. An example: on February 7th the sisters distributed a maize meal, including soup and other dishes to Sisters’ families, our students and many others.

We finally celebrated our dear Jubilarians: Sister Augustina Thokoa, Provincial Councilor, for her 25 years of religious life and Sister Alixius Maria for her 50 years of religious life. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Bishop Augustinus Bane OMI, Bishop of the Diocese of Leribe who heartily thanked and sincerely wished the Jubilarians a happy life.
On behalf of the two Jubilarians, Sr. Augustina warmly thanked all those who had helped them during their growth, including members of their own families. What joy!!!

During the Holy Mass, this five pronounced their vows individually after which Sister Catherine, the Provincial Superior received them as novices. She told them that from now on they would be called: Sister Euphracia Khatite, Sister Caroline Makupu, Sister Agnes Mankoe, Sister Theresia Lekena and Sister Amelia Motsamai. She also advised them to be prayerful women and live the community life.
