World Water Day Celebrations

Return to news

The Mabathoana High School administration in collaboration with the non-governmental organization Transformation Resource Centre (TRC) organized an activity to mark World Water Day.

Officials took advantage of this day to raise awareness among high school students about the importance of water in daily life. In this period of pandemic where it is important to adopt sanitary measures such as hand washing, the awareness in favor of access to drinking water for all as a right is paramount.

The event was filmed and streamed on Facebook to reach a larger audience. It included speeches interspersed with singing and dancing. It was a successful day.
